Christianity and politics are anathema according to some. The Evangel Society understands that Christians must engage culture in every way possible. Thus, Christians who believe the Bible provides absolute moral guidelines should understand how Christian moral standards and principles apply in the political world. These articles seek to place selected political issues in a clear Christian understanding.

BCW II - 2008 Republican Presidential Nominee?
by Keith Miller (9 March 2004)

Bible Con Weekly I: James Dobson, Roy Moore and Judicial Activism
by Keith Miller (1 December 2003)
While The Bible-Con Weekly believes that Judge Moore was well the bounds of the Alabama state constitution, it seemed that this may have been a battle badly chosen. The expected outcome, a federal court order that "Roy's Rock" be removed, came down last fall and was upheld this summer by the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals.

A Premature Demise: Steve Largent's Defeat Leaves the Religious Right Without a Leader
by Keith Miller (14 November 2002)
Steve Largent has been one of my heroes for as long as I can remember. His gubernatorial defeat last Tuesday was a sour note on an otherwise victorious night. Though my personal interest in Largent tuned me into the race, his defeat may have far-reaching consequences for the religious right.

Religious Faith of Political Candidates

A look at the role of a president's religious faith.

North Korea and Possible Preemptive Nuclear Conflict
by Michael Francisco (30 April 2003)
A serious look at the escalating crisis with North Korea will show that we are now reaping the consequences of failed Clinton policy, that we live in a much smaller world, and that President Bush will soon face tough decisions about the possibility preemptive strikes (perhaps even using nuclear weapons).
