How Christinas reconcile the Biblical notion of family values within the political realm is a question that deserves careful attention. In many ways, Christian famly values are more important than more mundane political party considerations. Christian values, such as the Biblical model of marriage, transcend temporal political circumstances, making them essential considerations for any Christian who aim to spread God's kingdom in every aspect of life.

Is the Abortion Debate Over?
by Sean Codier (11 March 2004)
As the pro-choice movement struggles to move forward, I find it interesting to note the reaction of the Christian community. Within the past decade, America has seen the decline in both the quality and quantity of active dissent on the part of Christians.

Can Homosexuals Change? - Why Does it Matter
by Michael Francisco (11 March 2004)
The most vital piece of conventional wisdom, the myth that homosexuals cannot change but are born that way, radically alters the public policy debate. If they can't change, homosexuals would be facing discrimination in the same way that racial minorities once did. The argument for extending rights is the lynchpin of the gay "marriage."

Walking the Walk - Showing Christian Love to Homosexuals
by Jeremy Rein (12 March 2004)
Now that homosexuality relationships may gain legal status, Christians have no idea how to respond. Have we forgotten our calling to be salt and light and instead hidden the faith which was bought at so high a price? As Evangelical scholar Larry Crabb notes, the Church has forgotten what it means to influence our culture with the hope of the gospel.

Walking the Walk II - Stand Tall

Second part in series on Christian love for Homosexuals.

Athens & Jerusalem

What has Jerusalem to do with Athens?

Why the Time is Now for the FMA
by Michael Francisco (9 January 2004)
Christians lost the abortion issue when the Supreme Court ruled from on high on January 22, 1973. Christians may soon loose the gay marriage issue if the Supreme Court again has the chance to rule by judicial fiat. With the courts poised to take up the gay marriage issue, as they did the abortion issue, the time is now, if Christians want to safeguard the sacred institution of marriage.

The 2004 Wild Card - The Federal Marriage Amendment
by Keith Miller (9 January 2004)
In case you hadn't noticed, the election season is ramping up. With the first primaries set to occur less than a month from now, the American people's attention will soon be wrested away from The Simple Life and Average Joe 2 and turned to the slightly less absurd business of electing a President.

Why Gay Marriage Won't Save Marriage
by Drew Bond (9 January 2004)
Marriage, like it or not, is undoubtedly a union between a man and a woman. Historically speaking, marriage began as a union before God to glorify God. Only later did the State come in and decide to "legalize" it for its own purposes. While love and commitment certainly do glorify God, and we could use a lot more of the both, love and commitment to a relationship neither created nor blessed by God does not glorify God.

Internet Epistemology
by Michael Francisco (12 November 2002)
The medium of the internet is fundamentally changing the way we view the world. Stealing a page from the playbook of Neal Postman, I contend that the internet is changing our epistemology in ways that are only starting to become clear..
